• Proven five years of work experience as a Travel Consultant
• Excellent knowledge of computer reservations systems, GDS systems, and e-traveling
• Strong sales skills and commercial awareness
• Ability to interact, communicate and negotiate effectively
• Sound knowledge of domestic and international travel trends
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, or Business

• Arrange travel bookings and ticket arrangements for walk-in customers, corporate clients, management, employees, and company guests.
• Serve as a general resource and point of contact for travel-related issues; assist management and employees with travel-related problems or concerns.
• Research, negotiate, and secure rate with airlines, car rental companies, and hotels
• Review and ensure all contracts for appearances include necessary specifications
• Act to ensure safe and efficient travel operations under organizational policies and guidelines
• Receive and respond to incoming travel requests on behalf of the organization
• Responsible for maintaining records of all tickets.
• Prepare timely reports
• Researches and compares available travel and hotel accommodations to identify the best option for each travel need.
• When travel arrangements are within approved travel reasons and budget limits, make all arrangements and reservations as requested.
• Obtains approval from leadership for travel requests and expenses that exceed established limits.
• Advises management and employees and assists with any need for specialized travel documents such as visas or passports.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Perform special projects and assignments as directed.
